Its been a bit
It's been a while and as I'm sitting here waiting to pick Jack up at school, I thought I would post an update. I'm sure many of you saw on my Facebook posts that I've been having trouble with the steroids again, and being put back on high doses due to adrenal insufficiency I'm gaining weight again ðŸ˜ðŸ˜. It is literally so dam frustrating. All I want is to get my trach out and not live with this anymore. Fortunately, as my boyfriend reminds me, at least it's keeping you alive. Yes, yes it is. When I saw Dr. Gray this last time she asked me "why don't you want the trach?". My response? "Who would want to live with one!". Through the tears that was the only response I could give her. She then asked me to be part of a research study. And maybe to talk to other people going through the same thing to offer support. Of course I will.
